The Glenside Fire Company gathered for the annual dinner.  Jeff Beck was recognized for 20 years of service to the Crew and received his life membership.  Rick Kass, Sr. was recognized for his service to the Board of Directors.

Baskin Robbins 31 Cent Scoop Night

Members from the Glenside Fire Company participated in the Baskin Robbins 31 Cent Scoop Night.   Baskin-Robbins stores reduce prices of ice cream scoops to 31 cents to honor America’s firefighters and create an opportunity for consumers to donate to local fire service organizations.  As part of the event, Baskin-Robbins makes a $100,000 donation to the NVFC National Junior Firefighter Program.  A special thanks to Cheltenham Township Commissioner and GFC member Drew Sharkey for helping out at the event.

Ladder 1 on Working House Fire in 400's District

Ladder 1 responded to 2647 Hazel Avenue in the North Hills section of Abington Township.  With fire venting from the roof to the rear of the house, the crew from Ladder 1 opened up the ceiling below the fire.
